As you enter our facilities you can expect to be greeted immediately by people who are genuinely glad to see you. They will welcome you, have some written information for you, and be ready to show you around and answer any questions you have.  If you need to drop off a child in the nursery, they will guide you through that process.  If you have children (sixth grade or lower), they will show you to the children's church area and introduce you to the leaders there.  

In the adult worship service, you can expect enthusiastic worship using contemporary music and instruments.  At some point we will likely invite people to come forward for prayer if they have special needs.  You are free to come forward or remain at your seat, whichever is more comfortable for you.  Our Pastor's primary spiritual gift is teaching, so you can expect a message from the Bible that is communicated in a way that will help you understand and apply the sermon to your everyday life.  

If you will fill out and drop your guest card at the Welcome Center, we have a gift for you.  If you include contact information on the card, one of our staff will be contacting you just to see if there are any questions about Relevant or if we can serve you in any way.  

We know that it's never easy to checkout a new church for the first time, so we want to do all we can to make your time with us a great experience.

Do I have to wear a suit or fancy clothes to come to your church?
We want you to feel comfortable when you come to Relevant. We would rather you be focused on the service itself than on what you're wearing! Come as you are and we're good with that!

Is the music current?
Yes. We love using songs that we write as well as songs from worship groups like: Hillsong, Hillsong United, Bethel, Jesus Culture, Elevation Worship and United Generation to name a few! We also have no problem going old school with a hymn that flows with the set list that we have for that weekend.

Do you receive tithes and offerings?
Yes. Those who consider themselves a member of Relevant church will take time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our those who attend Relevant on a regular basis, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. It also gives Relevant church the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.

Do you take communion at Relevant Church?
Yes. We try to take communion as a church family at least once a month. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer – as long they have made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The juice and bread that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.
